A More Traditional Service
There’s a lot of modern things we don’t do at Casca Sails.
No costly longwinded multipage inspection reports.
No minimum charge if no work is required.
No astronomical markups on materials used.
And lastly, we have appropriate pricing that won’t make you spit out your tea.
In essence, if we can’t see any value for the sailor we don’t do it because we feel the more traditional “outdated” approach is a much better service.
Getting You Back On The Water
We’re a needs driven, not sales driven sail loft.
We’re here to help with what you need in order to get back on the water and enjoy sailing. We’re not here to push-sell you ‘upgrades’ and ‘add-ons’ in order to drive up our own sales numbers
Once your sail is with us, we’ll inspect the sail and call you to offer our recommendation. We’ll always offer cost effective solutions to any repair and servicing work that you need.
Once the work is done we’ll get the sail straight back to you and we even offer free delivery if the cost of work is over £350.*
* Only available to UK mainland and regrettably we cannot offer free delivery if the sail weighs over 20kg
Pricing
Our rates are simple and consistent.
Hourly Rate: £45/hour
Materials: At cost to loft, no mark up added.
Replacing UV strips on genoas are calculated at £10 per foot of boat length. We only use Weathermax, meaning hopefully you shouldn’t ever need to change your UV protective strip again.
Example UV replacement pricing - 18ft boat = £180. 30ft boat = £300.
